Community Director
As the community director you will be responsible for and lead:
- Community outreach to "un-churched" teens;
- "In-reach" to Christian teens;
- Leading and equipping volunteers to do hands-on middle-school and high-school Christian youth programs.
It is preferred that applicants have a bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in youth ministry. A negotiable salary and an excellent benefits package are offered. A three-year commitment and some fundraising are required. Young Life is Club Beyond's partner in this ministry opportunity. Previous experience with the military culture is helpful but not necessary as we train all staff.
Associate Staff
Take the Club Beyond challenge! Step out and minister to U.S. military teens. You will work side-by-side with a community director, receiving direction and training while you minister through camps, clubs, Bible studies, service projects, and unstructured "hangout" time. As the associate staff person, you are an important role model for teens.
Short-Term Staff
If you are a high school graduate (preferably enrolled in college) and wish to experience first-hand the challenges and rewards of youth ministry, this could be the position for you. You will serve under a staff member and receive direction and training while you minister through camps, clubs, Bible studies, service projects, and unstructured "hangout" time. You are an important role model for teens. There are opportunities in Europe, Asia, and the United States based on your desire and our availability. College credits can be coordinated prior to embarking into the field. Short-term staff raise all of their own support.
