Adolescence is not an easy journey. The military teen has one of the roughest transitions from childhood to adulthood because they have so many external stressors creating extra anxiety in their life. In addition to possible deployments for one or both parents, military families relocate every one to three years — sometimes to a foreign country. Each move means being the new kid at school, making new friends, learning a new environment — all over again and again.
Since 1980, Club Beyond has been walking alongside these teens, often being the only consistent thing in their ever-changing lives. We seek staff who have the heart and capacity to share life with military teens and to tell them about the Life Giver who loves them.
